As far as i know this option is not available in Outlook, but i think I have a simple solution to fighting spam. If you can highlight a group of emails in your inbox or junk mail inbox, and then send them all one reply something like 'no thank you' etc. and each junk mail address will recieve this reply. The people (low-lifes in many cases) will begin recieving tons of emails and will hopefully taste there own medicine in a big way, and we will hopefully overwhelm their servers, bringing them to a screeching halt!
what do you think? |

| Thanks. I have a few forums with low activity and these steps are likely to save me tons of time i spend on deleting spam posts. |

| Since weve been bombarded with the spam on this site, Ive been having a bit of an idea. A few of the sites I spend time on have a minimum number of posts required before any member is able to post anything for sale. Is this site set up to be able to do that? |

Hello, I am new here and I was actually just cruising along today looking for handy and useful spam fighting information, and I had bookmarked this site some time ago to look at~
I moderate on a local board where I live, and the amount of "new members" who have recently joined has not only increased!!! but I am even dealing with multiple accounts being created by the same extremely insistent individual who basically fail my little spam checking tools, who show all the signs of being a spammer! (beyond checking emails and IP's in databases)
The most recent one was a person who "joined" over 30 times!!! (using a minor change in user name and a broad IP range).
I found one thing that gave me quite a chuckle today that I'm preparing now to post at our forums.
It basically acknowledges the increase in spam identities, and goes on to say that "due to the increase of spam sign ups wanting to post their spam, I thought it would be nice if I posted their email addresses so people who are interested in their products /services can contact them with their inquiries."
It goes on to say that if any of the spammers have a problem automated spammers that crawl the internet for email addresses, please advise me immediately.
This gave me a really good chuckle when I read it, and I liked it!!! (must be the evil twin coming out in me.) LOL! .....at least its something different than the ban button.....
Just wanted to "share" and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here ~
Be well,
