Thanks for coming to our forum.
http://www.Spam.org is an informational site, and not involved in the "nuts and bolts" of spam fighting, or supression. I am in contact with others in the field frequently, though, and I believe that spam is still becoming more and more of a problem. In the email category, even with great filtering software available, the spammers are becoming more sophisticated, and as filterers evolve, so do the spammers evolve, so it is a constant battle with no end in sight. Here in the US, may ISP's are subscribing to spam blacklists, such as spamhaus. See list here: http://www.dnsstuff.com/
and do a check in the Spam Database Lookup section, or try this link: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ip4r.ch?ip=192.168.100.1

A frequent problem, in my observation lately, is false positves here. I send out a community newsletter about every 10 days, and in the past 2 months I have almost every issue had to contact some blacklist to be removed. Also, one of the most frequent questions I get here is how to be removed from a blacklist, by someone who feels that they are being falsely accused of spamming. I am sure that in almost every case this is true, because a true spammer would not contact me, but just set up a new domain or relay and continue.

Another huge problem that did not exist a year or 2 ago is spamming of forums, blogs, wikis, and the like. Any website which allows user input is at risk of the input being someone doing some kind of scam, or unwanted advert. Many forums have become essentially unusable due to spam, because the administrator has found that they are spending most of their time deleting spam, rather than communicating with their users. Spammers have developed robotic software, or Bots, which search for, and sign up, and post spam on, all these kinds of websites. When the bots don't work, spammers sometimes hire actual people from developing countries to post spam on sites.

But there are plenty of other organizations which do. Check here to see if you are blocked, and who is doing it. Then you can contact the correct organization to deal with it. http://www.dnsstuff.com/

We quite often get emails from people such as this:

Quote:
textfield: I WANT TO KNOW IF YOU DO THEY TAKE CHARGE OF BLOCKING BILLS OF E-MAIL?,
AS KNOWING IF I AM IN SOME LIST OF THESE?,
WHO SAYS THAT YOUR YOU ARE A SPAM?,
DOES SOME FORM EXIST, TO VALIDATE YOUR BILL OF E-MAIL?

textfield: someone is using my domain, "something".com as the sender of a lot of spam, how can I find out who they are, and how can I stop them? It started with a couple returned emails a day about a hot stock tip (company colocated in us and china), now i have all kinds of info. my domain is being added to spam lists all over the place, please help. I need to find out who they are and stop them

textfield: I can't send email with my current IP address. My friend told me that my IP address has been blocked by www.spam.org.

I am looking for how to remove my IP address at www.spam.org. Could you please show me?

Thanks and have a nice day!

May God bless you!

Warmest regards,

Again, these people need to contact someone else, as we never are involved in any blocking of email.
